This whole 'sorta Highschool AU Spamtenna' (both Tenna and Spamton are 19) universe was created for my fanfic "Fat Camp Affair" on AO3. I didn't not intend to make a whole visual novel for a 'prequel' but here we are folks. I didn't intend for Fat Camp Affair in general — I had this idea of the whole 'star crossed lovers' and 'quirky highschool au but everyone's old enough to buy smokes'. It has since extended to becoming an entire series of fics as we track Tenna and Spamton's love affair from highschool to college. Oops. Someone had to do it. Guess that's me.
All you need to know going into this visual novel is that Spamton has a huge crush on Tenna and Tenna has no idea how bad his best friend wants to make out with him. It's a smutty, weight gain/feedism kink visual novel that's enough plot and quality writing to keep your attention. If your a fan of Fat Camp Affair or any of my fanfictions, you'll adore this little passion project.
There's fat Tenna fanservice, cross dressing, Addision nudity, masturbation scenes, voyeurism, mental illness, gender dysphoria and smoking/drinking and I'm sure more content warnings as the story develops.
This visual novel can be played before reading the 'Fat Camp Affair' fic or after — the order doesn't really matter. The visual novel is coded, drawn, and written by me, Zaftcraft. This is a pet project that I wanted to start in order to learn the RENPY engine for future OC based projects. I'm already using my friends as beta testers via Disord as I chip away at this massive project one part at a time. Could I have delegated this project? Proabably not. I mean, who else would make this to my oddly specific specifications?
Sprites, other backgrounds are created using Fire Alpaca (as the program is free). I draw using an old Wacom Cintiq model (if you're curious).
Writing is done in Google docs because random cloud saving. (it's as cheap as free).
The 'talking' noises are rips from Deltarune that have edited in Audacity.
Other sounds are free SFX's I've found on the internet.
The whole thing is compiled together using the FOSS engine RENPY. Everyone say "Thank you, Renpy!"
